This beautiful Papa Huia box is crafted from recycled native Rimu wood.

A keepsake box, it features a contemporary engraved design that merges modern form with Māori artistry. It bridges contemporary and traditional realms, exuding authenticity and cultural significance. The Pūhoro design is reminiscent of the ripples and swirls created by a hoe/paddle strike, propelling the waka through water. Please note that because this item is made from recycled rimu, the finish is not “perfect” and there are marks on the wood consistent with a life lived full of personality and storytelling.
