Fighting Forward Trivia Night

Join us for a night of entertainment and fundraising as we come together for "Fighting Forward Trivia Night". Grab some mates and book a table for a fun night out - compete alongside your friends in our trivia challenge, and get a chance to win some incredible raffles and silent auctions on the night.

This event is to raise funds for Jamie Pack, who needs urgent stem cell treatment to fight her Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. This treatment is only available in Mexico - all funds raised will go towards her treatment costs which are in excess of $120,000.

FAQs:

Can I buy a single ticket? While we’d love for you to come alone and make some new friends, we are only selling TABLES for this event so call up your mates and bring them along - we have tables for teams of ten, eight or six people.

What time does the event finish? Doors open at 5pm with the event starting around 6pm. The night will conclude around 10pm.

Will be there be food/drinks available? Yes there will a cash bar and food available to purchase. 

Can I contribute a product or service to the raffles? Yes, we would love your support! Please email ronnie.mccort@gmail.com (Jamies Auntie!) for more information.

Will there be EFTPOS available on the night? Yes!

Will there be door sales on the night? Unfortunately we aren’t doing any door sales for this event.

Can I bring kids? Make this event your parents night out and leave the kiddies at home - this is an adult only event (R18).

Can I bring alcohol to the event? No, but there will be alcohol to purchase at the event.

Can I still support the cause even if I can’t attend the event? Absolutely! You can donate to Jamies Givealittle. Every little bit helps. You can also help us get the word out by sharing this event to your community.

ABOUT JAMIE:

In 2023, aged just 38, Jamie received a life-altering diagnosis: Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. This devastating news arrived just six months after Jamie bravely launched her new business Kai 2 You, while also navigating the joys and challenges of family life with four teenagers. Since then, Jamies symptoms have sadly rapidly progressed, impacting her daily life, and she is no longer able to run, walk very far, or play the sport she loved - netball. Her family life has also been hugely impacted as she navigates her way through this brutal, life-changing disease.

Despite trying traditional treatments, including Ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) infusions twice a year, all treatment thus far has proven ineffective and Jamie has been told there are no other avenues for treatment here in Aotearoa. The next step and last hope of halting the disease is to undergo stem cell therapy, available in Mexico. This treatment offers a potential chance to halt the progression of MS and improve Jamies quality of life.

This journey, however, comes with significant financial burdens. We are reaching out to our community and friends, and anyone touched by Jamie's story, to help raise the funds needed for this crucial treatment.
