This beautiful soy candle is one of our own HAPA designs!
I love to light candles in our home, to bring a little warmth and magic into our environment. Ive always found it to be calming, peaceful, and affirming.
We named this candle "MAUMAHARA" - te reo Māori for 'remembrance'.
A reminder that while loss is physical, we cherish our people through emotional and spiritual sustenance - a legacy of memory, pūrakau, storytelling , ritual and aroha.
We designed a simple label, printed here in Aotearoa by NZ company Pinc, who specialise in metallic gold foil printing. Its a lovely heavy weight paper with a linen texture. We added a rosemary drawing to the label - rosemary symbolises remembrance.
We put a lot of heart and soul into this candle - I hope it brings you some reflective joy and peace, the way it does for me.
The glass bottles are salvaged from various local NZ businesses and repurposed (cleaned, ground down and polished )in preparation for filling with premium pure soy wax. The lid is made from recycled pallet wood. Ngā mihi to Earth Candles for creating this candle especially for us.
