This Roimata piece is individually hand-carved from genuine New Zealand pounamu (greenstone). Each piece has unique characteristics formed over millions of years, giving them their own identity, colour and character.

Each Ngāi Tahu piece comes with an information card, beautifully gift boxed for presentation, and a guarantee of authenticity "tracing code" - this allows you to go online and access the details relating to this piece of pounamu (its origin and genealogy)

Roimata means teardrops, these pendants are widely regarded as touchstones in healing and meditation. Roimata carvings are also believed to hold strong connections to the land.
