This wonderful all purpose healing balm is great for healing skin ailments including dry or itchy skin, cuts, burns and nappy rash.

Poipoia carefully harvest kawakawa leaves and create and package this balm from their Ōtautahi base.

Artist statement: 

"My name is Nikkita Koia, I am a kaiako in Ōtautahi/ Christchurch, māmā of three beautiful tamariki and I help my husband with our family owned barber shop also.
I started this wee business only nine months ago whilst on maternity leave with our youngest - Te Atarangi. It was a way for me to have something for myself. Adjusting to being a stay at home Māmā from working full-time was a big shift for me. I totally love being home with my tamariki, but I felt like something was missing - and that's when I started to make a business from what was just a hobby.
I love the whole process of creating this beautiful product. From harvesting the kawakawa to sending the balm, it's such an honour to make this balm and to be able to share it with you all"
