Two Puppies
Leather Kea Cuff Bracelet
These beautiful leather pieces are handcrafted here in Christchurch by Sophia and Lynley - "Two Puppies".
Inspired by the Kea, the world’s only alpine parrot, known for its intelligence, curiosity, and bold personality.
High in the misty peaks of the Southern Alps, the kea’s mischievous call dances on the wind. This alpine parrot, cloaked in emerald and fire-orange feathers, is both a trickster and a guardian of the mountains. Intelligent, curious, and unafraid of adventure, the kea embodies the untamed spirit of New Zealand’s wild heart.

About Two Puppies:
While studying Landscape Architecture together at Lincoln University, Sophia and Lynley discovered their shared passion for New Zealand’s stunning landscapes and extraordinary biodiversity. They were captivated by the richness of the country’s native flora and fauna, which inspired them to incorporate these influences into their creative work.
This inspiration led to the launch of a collection of handcrafted jewellery inspired by New Zealand’s natural beauty. Using the shapes, colours, and textures of native plants and wildlife as their muse, Sophia and Lynley design elegant earrings, bracelets, and other accessories that reflect the unique character of their adopted home. Through these creations, they aim to share the beauty of Aotearoa with the world while encouraging a sense of care and responsibility for the natural environment.
Sophia and Lynley are dedicated to more than just creating beautiful items—they are committed to crafting pieces that inspire connection, storytelling, and care. Their work reflects their belief in the power of art to make a meaningful impact.
