"Kia ora, Cuppy is a small business co-founded by a Maori/Samoan couple who are proud of their whakapapa and cultural journey. Originally based in Tamaki Makaurau, the founders recently moved to Otautahi after falling in love with the scenery, revitalisation of the city and community.
Cuppy is on a mission to weave polynesian languages with every day items.
This is to celebrate representation, have sweet reminders of home and curate a diverse community who embrace cultures with curiosity and aroha.
The name Cuppy and slogan "Filling one cup at a time" is the founders mission to encourage mindfulness and focus on small acts of impact. 'Cups' is likened to the different roles, responsibilities and challenges and the need to try and fill all 'cups' in our lives resulting in burn out, despair and unworthiness - Cuppy is a reminder that filling one cup at a time is enough. The founders have a goal to make Cuppy a social enterprise by donating a portion of proceeds to a mental health organisation focused on improving outcomes for our rangatahi".
