Heitiki pendants - Carved Tanerore
These large Heitiki pendants are detailed and beautiful, handmade with love by Vicki Ngatara Morehu.
Made from Polymer clay with handwoven cords and bead eyes - each one is completely unique. Each heitiki is black with a metallic colour handpainted on the front of it - apart from the white one which is white with a silvery white paint.
Please note these are handmade and feature quirks, the odd mark, character and inconsistencies that show the imprint of the maker. They are not “perfect”.
Hei tiki are an indigenous Māori protective talisman - some say that they are worn to protect you/your whānau (family), aid fertility and bring long-lasting prosperity and abundance. This heitiki is named "Tanerore".
Dimensions: Tiki 100mm x 65mm, woven cord is approx 60cm end to end
