Nichola Te Kiri earrings - Long Taaniko

These stunning earrings are by NZ textile and fashion/jewellery designer Nichola Te Kiri.

This taaniko design expresses histories, ideas and values important in Te Ao Māori (The Māori World). This particular pattern represents Papatūānuku (Mother Earth) and our whenua (land). It is a section of a larger piece of taaniko.

The earrings are made from perspex with silver plated hooks.
Dimensions: 17 mm x 72 mm

Nichola Te Kiri, of dual Māori and Pākeha heritage, was raised in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton), Aotearoa.
