Little Taonga Huia Feather rings

These lovely Huia Feather Duo rings are designed by Little Taonga, based in Kaikoura. 

The Huia bird was the most sacred of our native birds. The white-tipped tail feathers were worn as adornments to signify a person of great mana. Huia birds also mated for life, and were most always found in pairs – symbolised by the two intertwining feathers.

Made from fine brass, and dipped in 18kt gold or sterling silver, and covered with a clear tarnish resistance to protect them from the elements.
