Pounamu Niho Tooth pendant

This large contemporary pendant is individually hand-carved from genuine New Zealand Pounamu (greenstone). Each piece has unique characteristics formed over millions of years, giving them their own identity, colour and character.

This pendant was handmade for HAPA by Hokitika based Poutini Pounamu (master carver Tyrone Tainui, Ngāi Tahu).

The Niho/Tooth shape speaks to strength, resilience and the earnest pursuit of your goals - and a reminder to keep going.

NOTE that the piece you receive may have slightly different colouration and pattern as no two are the same - one of the things we love about the taonga that is pounamu!
