What is Kintsugi....?
Kintsugi (金継ぎ), or kintsukuroi (金繕い), literally golden (“kin”) and repair (“tsugi”) is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the cracks with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. Instead of hiding the damage, it highlights the breaks, transforming them into a beautiful and unique part of the object's history. It's also a philosophy that embraces imperfection and sees damage as an opportunity for strengthening and renewed beauty.
Your kit includes:
Epoxy Glue
Gold Powder
Gold Leaf
Brush
Sandpaper
Mixing sticks
Mixing trays
Enjoy and have fun!
