This beautiful ring dish is crafted from recycled native Rimu wood.
Features an engraved puhoro design which is inspired by the traditional kowhaiwhai patterns seen in Māori art practices such as kowhaiwhai and Tā Moko. By blending contemporary form with classic Maori artistry and flair, it resonates with both the present and the past, exuding authenticity and cultural significance.

Drawing inspiration from his Māori whakapapa and his work as a Tā Moko practitioner, Wiremu aesthetically blends traditional concepts into modern forms. With a career in the music industry spanning 30+ years, which includes lead guitarist of the world-renowned band Katchafire, Its only natural that influences from his love and passion for music often show through in his art.
