Aolele creator Leone Samu Tui (Sāmoa, Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa) combines timeless traditional motifs with fresh contemporary innovation in a joyous celebration of whaanau, aiga, and culture. 

Named ‘Tipani’ after the beloved floral motif found across Pasifika designs, these earrings are handmade using polymer clay and stainless steel to create wearable art.

"My name is Leone Samu Tui, he uri nō Hamoa me Ngati Kahungunu ki Wairarapa ahau. I work as a Pacific histories researcher in my day job but have been making these earrings for my wider Moana community since 2016. The aunties keep wanting them so i keep making them!"
