Introducing the new Apostle red wine and plum herb salt!

Apostle soak pink Himalayan rock salt in organic Hawke's Bay pinot noir so the crystals take on a softly fruity and tannic flavour along with a deep dusk coloured hue.
Inspired by classic Provençal herbs, the salt is dehydrated with layers of rosemary, thyme, celery, dill and juniper. Finally, they add Black Doris plum for sweetness, richness and colour along with sumac for tartness and acidity. The result is an elegant, vivid herb salt that brings a splash of colour and burst of flavour to any dish.

Ingredients: Himalayan pink salt, organic red wine (20%), black doris plum (7%), sumac, pepper, rosemary, dill, coriander, celery seed, juniper, thyme. Contains celery. May contain traces of sesame.

Apostle Hot Sauce began in 2018, in Paekākāriki NZ, with initial sales at the local market. Apostle have a strong passion for using local ingredients, the peppers they use are hand picked and the Kawakawa leaves are from their own garden. There are no artificial colours, preservatives, flavours or thickeners, instead relying on fresh ingredients to create their vibrant range of sauces.

The beautiful labels are hand drawn by the remarkably talented Juju - you can check out her other amazing works HERE. Inspired by religious iconography and tarot cards they wanted each bottle and its contents to be considered as a work of art, a "gift from our hearts to your mouth".
