Dale Borland

Bone double koru earrings

$59

These Roimata drop earrings are individually hand-carved from beef bone. Each carved piece has it’s own identity and character.

The Roimata shape is widely regarded to represent empathy and solidarity, healing and emotional connection. Add to this the double koru shape, which represents growth and family.

Dale Borland is a whānau business run by John and Dale Harrison, and middle son Steven.

Dimensions:

The bone part measures 70mm long, with 25mm long steel hooks. Note that as the beef bone is a natural material, there are not two the same, there may be marks, colouration and 'imperfections' on the bone itself - we consider this to be part of its unique appeal.

These items are handmade in New Zealand
