Ceramic Ruru Owl Wall art

A beautiful glazed ceramic Ruru owl, featuring hand drawn original artwork by Borrowed Earth. 
Each piece has a wall hook on the back for wall hanging.

Please note that each is individually handmade with different designs - the one you receive may have a different design on its chest from those pictured - but rest assured each is very beautiful.

Borrowed Earth is dynamic duo Rich and Adele, and their studio in Whangaparoa. Adele was between jobs when her Mum taught her how to pot. Eventually Dad gave in and his garage became her studio! Then Richie came along - back then in the 90’s he was a telecommunication technician and Adele was selling work at local markets. Who knew he would become the other half of Borrowed Earth!

Now they are well established with a wide range of designs, taking pride in creating new ways to share their unique view of the world, honouring their Māori (Ngāti Porou), Pacific and English heritage.
