Please note that each Poppy is handmade, with visible brushstrokes and sometimes fingerprints - all part of their considerable charm. They each have a wire hanger on the back for easy wall mounting on a nail or a hook.

Borrowed Earth is dynamic duo Rich and Adele, and their studio in Whangaparoa. Adele was between jobs when her Mum taught her how to pot. Eventually Dad gave in and his garage became her studio! Then Richie came along - back then in the 90’s he was a telecommunication technician and Adele was selling work at local markets. Who knew he would become the other half of Borrowed Earth!

Now they are well established with a wide range of designs, taking pride in creating new ways to share their unique view of the world, honouring their Māori (Ngāti Porou), Pacific and English heritage.
