Large Pounamu Niho pendant

This contemporary pendant is individually hand-carved from genuine New Zealand Pounamu (greenstone). Each piece has unique characteristics formed over millions of years, giving them their own identity, colour and character.

This beautiful large Niho pendant was handmade for HAPA by Hokitika based Poutini Pounamu (master carver Tyrone Tainui, Ngāi Tahu). The shape and notching around the edge represents strength, determination and resilience. 

Dimensions: approx 76mm long, 45mm wide across the top.
