Erstwilder brooch - Possum Midin

We are delighted to be a stockist of the gorgeous Erstwilder range of brooches and necklaces. Fans of this iconic Melbourne based brand will know they release limited edition ranges regularly, that sell out very quickly!

Erstwilder began with designs by artist Louisa Camille in 2011.

This brooch is from the "Melanie Hava" release (August 2022)

This is the first collaboration between Erstwilder and an indigenous artist. The extraordinary talent behind this collection is Mamu Aboriginal artist Melanie Hava.

To ensure funds from this range go back to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, they’ve partnered with "Deadly Inspiring Youth Doing Good" and have made a $5,000 donation to celebrate this collection’s release. In addition, they’ll be donating a further $2 from each piece sold on launch day.

Each piece is hand assembled, with subtle differences in the textured resin, and released in limited quantities. All designs are made from layered resin. All metal components including brooch clasps, necklace chains and jump rings are made from silver plated steel.
Designs come packaged in an Erstwilder gift box.
