Hāpai Collective Muka Tassel earrings - brown/tan

These stunning earrings are individually handmade by contemporary Ngāi Tahu textile artists Alice Spittle and Jacinta Topia, for the Hāpai Collective.

Each pair of muka tassel earrings are handmade using traditional techniques and dyed using natural plant dyes. Made with muka fibre extracted from Aotearoa / New Zealand harakeke/flax. No two pairs are alike, there is slight variation in the colour and length between each pair.

Note that each of these earrings can be cut shorter or to the length you want - kia kaha! Simply comb and trim to suit!

The muka section is 65-75mm long, stainless steel components.
