This leather Guitar Strap is a stunning gift for the musician in your life.

The meticulous attention to detail that Wiremu Barriball has poured into this strap, showcasing an intricate engraved moko-inspired design, is a testament and a tribute to his deep passion as a career musician, Tā Moko practitioner, and creator of Māori visual art.

The central design element of this strap is the Wheku with its paua shell laminate eyes – traditionally, the Wheku stands as a guardian at the peak of a wharenui, watching over and safeguarding those deeply connected to that sacred ancestral home.

This contemporary design blends traditional Māori artistry and flair with modern form and function. The result bridges the old and the new, exuding both authenticity and cultural significance.
