Shilohs Way

Mangopare Might earrings - midi

$45

1 piece in stock.

We are proud to introduce these beautiful pieces from Ngāti Porou creative Dee Marsh of 'Shilohs Way'.

Tenacious yet cautious, the mighty Mangopare (Hammerhead Shark) inspires this bold and unapologetic collection.

Offering wāhine (women) a modern interpretation of an ancient Maori design, this collection features the use of strong iconic curves paired with modern aesthetics.

Although each design has unique features, the shared principles of grit, strength, and determination bind each pair together in a cohesive collection.

Meet the midi sized Mangopare earrings - they deliver a more gentle take on the Shilohs Way statement earrings.  Designed for those who love the look of the larger earrings, but maybe not the size.

These earrings still deliver on beauty and that distinct Shiloh feel.  Measuring 25mm (2.5cm) in length, these lightweight and beautiful earrings are your next collection piece!

Greetings! I'm Dee Marsh, lead designer and owner of Shilohs Way.

Our whanau of 4 lives on the Yugumbeh Lands of Gold Coast, Australia, with roots connecting us back to Gisborne, Wairoa, Wellington, and Taupo.

Shilohs Way Jewellery was born from a longing for the familiar comforts of home. Designing jewellery became the bridge to reconnect with my Māori heritage, serving as a personal avenue to express those deep-rooted feelings of home through contemporary wearable art.

Named after my beautiful daughter, Shiloh, our work embodies the essence of #contempronesian design, blending Maori heritage with futuristic design elements. As we step into the realm of designers, we are thankful to have you join us on this exciting journey. Your investment of time in our venture is truly appreciated.

Nga mihi nui, Dee"
