Natty Kowhai Brooch

This beautiful brooch is designed and made by Natty in Wellington.

The design of this brooch is based on the NZ Kowhai flower. It is made from rimu and is hand painted. 

The brooch is approximately 5.5cm high and 2cm wide wide.

They have been sealed with beeswax to protect the finish.

Presented on a Natty illustrated backing card.

Natty design and produce hand-printed textiles, jewellery, illustrated gift cards, stationery and homeware.

Artist statement:

"I am inspired by everything! Our products strive to celebrate Aotearoa, other influences draw from popular culture, my memories and my life, to create humorous, fun illustrations to put a smile on your dial. I feel extremely lucky to do what i do as a small creative business and it is only possible with the great support from all of Nattys lovely customers and stockists. Natty aims to evoke and celebrate the natural environment with our product, rather than impact on it so we are always trying to improve our use of natural materials, package as lightly as possible and use local suppliers as often as we can. All product printing and packaging is done here in NZ, mostly here in Wellington"
