NZ Pounamu Niho Tooth pendant
This beautiful pendant is individually hand-carved from genuine New Zealand pounamu (greenstone). Each piece has unique characteristics formed over millions of years, giving them their own identity, colour and character.
The Niho/Tooth design is inspired by two of our great ocean creatures, the Tohorā (whale) and the Mangō (shark). This design is considered to be symbolic of resilience, leadership, guardianship, protection and trust.
These pieces are carved to curve to either the left or the right (taken from the perspective of the wearer). Each features beautifully detailed lashing.
Each piece comes with a card with a guarantee of authenticity.
